Prices are medians of what shops reported to PriceCatcher (KPDN), worked out by Bijirin per item, state or federal territory and day.

The price in any one shop can be higher or lower.

Scenario and outlook figures are ranges from a statistical model, not promises.

Real prices can move outside them.

For items with a government ceiling or subsidy, Bijirin never shows an estimate above the official price.
